The 13th of June was International Chenin Blanc Day, and to celebrate, Leopard’s Leap Wines asked me to develop a few recipes to pair with their lovely trio of Chenin Blanc’s. Think mussels in a creamy sauce, a broccolini and citrus salad and an elegant cheese platter with roasted pears and goats cheese. Yum!

There are many hummus recipes and various adaptions. This version is made with red lentils and chickpeas and served with a selection of roasted root veggies. Hummus is really versatile, as you can use it as an alternative to butter on a sandwich, in a wrap, as a dipping sauce, or dollop it onto a salad or roasted veg as a delicious dressing. It’s as delicious with meatballs or chicken.
