The different ways that oven temperatures are indicated can be confusing – Celsius, Fahrenheit and Gas Mark. This table can help make it easier for you to use the correct temperature for your oven. A cool oven is a 100-140 °C, a medium oven is 180 °C and a hot oven refers to 200-220 °C. Previously gas oven temperatures were indicated with a ‘gas mark’, however newer models do indicate temperature.
